About us

Maxine Wattam Paris is a hybrid designer brand, halfway between luxury lingerie and niche ready-to-wear. Behind it's launch in September 2021, a duo of female entrepreneurs: Maxine Wattam, the designer and Halnalka Szabo, the marketing director. Two different views and a shared desire: to surround oneself with the best french craftsmanship to produce exceptional pieces, mixing traditional Calais lace with upcycled premium lambskin for bespoke or limited edition collections.

This hybrid collection is the synthesis of the designer's varied background, marked by two distinct projects over the past ten years: first the launch in 2010 of a bondage inspired lingerie brand “Kinbaku by Maxine Wattam” after a spell at Chantal Thomass's style office, then the opening in 2014 of her boutique-atelier in Paris in which she manufactures made-to-measure clothes for women.
